The game puts you at the center of a war against creatures called the Ridden, who were once human but were infected with a terrible parasite that turned them into terrifying monsters that seem determined to consume what’s left of our civilization. There’s a Back 4 Blood Co-op Campaign where you’ll fight your way through a dangerous and dynamic world in a 4-player squad story where you’ll have to join forces if you’re going to survive, with the difficulty increasing in extremely challenging missions. You can play online with up to 3 friends or lead your team in battle alone. You can choose any of the 8 fully customizable Purifiers, survivors who are immune to the Parasite, and equip them with a wide range of deadly weapons and important items. What’s more, you’ll need to use strategy to combat an ever-evolving enemy hellbent on total destruction.
Special Skills, Abilities, and Weapons
Play with or against friends in Back 4 Blood’s Multiplayer PVP mode. Switch between playing as a Cleaner or the fearsome Mounted, each side has their own special skills, abilities, and weapons for you to take advantage of. The all-new Rogue-Lite Card System creates ever-adapting experiences every time. You’ll be in control as you design custom builds and create ever-more challenging fights. The Game Director is constantly challenging players’ actions, adding challenge and variety to Back 4 Blood’s gameplay, making it harder to defeat the Ridden legions. The mutant bosses are an incredible 20 feet tall.
A Variety of Objectives to Complete
The campaign begins with the Cleaners retreating from the zombie-infested areas, mowing down as many of the parasite-infected creatures as possible along the way. This may seem like a rushed task, but this is much more than a run-and-gun game, Back 4 Blood features a variety of objectives to complete in each level. As a Cleaner, you’ll be tasked with blowing things up to rescue the trapped or create blockades that Ridden can’t get through. The bar has a great selection of licensed music on the jukebox, including Motörhead’s classic Ace of Spades, to set the mood as you fight to evacuate the survivors before they’re overwhelmed by Ridden.
Great Music and Great Graphics
Back 4 Blood has great music, stunning graphics and missions that you can play over and over again without ever getting bored, as Corruption Cards are an integral part of the game, constantly adding varying levels of extra challenge to each scenario. Like adding a thick pea soup fog that makes it hard to see, or turning Riddens into flaming walking time bombs with a card. This means that your Back 4 Blood experience will be unique every time. So gather your friends and arm yourself, because it’s time to save the world!
