PS5 Special
Every second counts during the breathtaking, dramatic racing action for enhanced framerates, and up to 120 FPS on PS5. With haptic trigger feedback, you can feel the car fighting you as you corner, giving you the feeling of acceleration and braking. Ray Traced Replays deliver Cinematic quality, broadcast camera shots and showrooms, and Ray Traced Lighting brings both F1® and F2 competition to life. An ultra-high-speed SSD dramatically reduces your loading times, while you can hear the difference with 3D Audio that, when combined with compatible headsets, creates realistic racing environments for all 2021 tracks.
Both Teammates and Rivals
New to the F1® series is Braking Point, a lifestyle scripted story that tells the story of two F1® drivers who are both teammates and rivals: rookie racer Aiden Jackson and his teammate, veteran driver Casper Akkerman. Set over two seasons, the first from Aiden’s perspective and the second from Casper’s. It’s a classic tale of a young newcomer and his aging veteran co-driver, and their evolving relationship as they face the challenges of a new season. Playing in selected races throughout the season, you’ll complete test objectives, many of which involve driving at the limit to achieve your goals.
The Ultimate Racing Simulation
Codemasters has re-ported the game from the 2020 version with updated high-resolution graphics that make the game look very realistic on both PS4 and PS5 consoles, while the introduction of the story-based Breaking Point adds a whole new dimension to the package. This includes a completely different perspective on the world of F1® racing. Career Mode will have you driving at the limit to get those all-important front-row grid starts that can mean the difference between success and failure. Quick Join events will put you in leagues and weekly events without the hassle. With realistic and, most importantly, consistent handling. The racing is as good as the real thing, without the controversial and corrupt championship outcome of the real season. As their first foray into EA Sports
