To show you just how big the changes in speed and handling have been this season, I’ve taken the lap times of each team around a virtual Silverstone and the order may surprise you, Ferrari not Red Bull is the fastest car with a 1.29.934, a real shock with Red Bull a few hundred behind in a 1.30.119, Mercedes, Alpha Tauri, the Red Bull B team are in 5th place with a respectable 1.30.533, Alfa Romeo is close behind with a 1.30.556 and Haas are just behind them in 7th place with a 1.30.557, Williams drops dramatically to 8th place with a disappointing 1.30.788 and McLaren and Aston Martin make up the back of the grid with times of 1.30.811 and 1.30.852 respectively.
